May 1 - 3, 2009 Annual USEA Area VII Adult Rider's Camp at Aspen Farms 
Clinicians: Jon Elliott, Kyle Carter, Steuart Pittman, Jean Moyer, and Beth Glosten (rider Pilates)
Have a great time campers! Although the camp is full, you can learn a ton from auditing. Come and enjoy the fun!

2009 Adult Rider Membership 
You can now join Adult Riders (AR) when you renew or join the USEA! If you renew or join online, you can check the Adult Rider box and it will automatically add $25 for you to be a member of Area VII Adult Riders.

This does represent an increase in membership fees, but Maggie, our fabulous leader, has decided she will give all 2009 members $10 in AR bucks for joining. The AR bucks will be mailed to you via a certificate which you can use towards: AR sponsored activities and clothing, a lesson or click with an ICP certified instructor. All you have to do is fill out the certificate and mail back to Maggie for reimbursement. Thanks Maggie!!

Awards and Grants
For competitors: Adult Riders is proud to offer $2,000 in award money for The American Eventing Championships to qualified members wishing to attend this prestigious event. Details here. Application here.

For instructors: The Cindy Burge Memorial ICP Grant is offered annually to one (or more) instructors who meet the grant's qualifications and is selected as a recipient. These qualifications include merit as an instructor, service to the sport, potential to provide future benefit to the sport, and demonstration of compatibility with the educational goals of ICP. This grant honors Cindy Burge, who was a spirited leader of eventing in the Northwest and one of the first instructors to be certified by ICP. Details here. Application here.
