4/7 - April 18-19: Eric Smily Clinic Ride Times

This is a VERY tentative schedule for the clinic at the Washington State HorsePark, Cle Elum. This at least gives you a rough timeframe of when you'll be riding. Upon Arrival, there will be paper work to sign in the Horse Show office trailer. Please use stalls 1-25 and place an Adult Rider sticker on the stall door. If you are using RV/Trailer hook-ups, also make a sticker visible, so as to make easier tracking of our expenses. We will be using the office trailer as home base for clinic snacks and social hour. Eric is looking forward to meeting all the riders and using this exciting new venue!

12/15 - 2013 Chronicle ATC Locations Announced

It's official. One of the Adult Rider Coordinator functions at the National Conventions is to debate the merits of the bids submitted to host the Adult Team Challenges in the three regions and pick the winners for the coming year.

The USEA and the Chronicle of the Horse have notified the winners so I can now publicize the results. The three winning bids for the Adult Team Challenge are as follows: Western ATC Shepherd Ranch Trials, August 23-25, Central ATC Cobblestone Farms Horse Trials, July 19-21, Eastern ATC WindRidge Horse Trials, October 5-6.

I am fully aware that this is a conflict with Caber Farms HT. However, participating in an ATC outside Area VII can be a great experience regardless. If anyone is interested in participating on an Area VII Team or if anyone would like to join a catch team with riders from other Areas to compete in the ATCs this year, please contact me regarding Adult Rider financial and moral support.
